Privacy Policy

The short version: we don't sell your data, and right now we don't have any to sell. The longer version is below.

About this policy

This policy covers how we handle information on the official Analog Jones podcast site. It does not cover Spotify, YouTube, or any other platform we publish or link to — those services have their own privacy policies.

No accounts, no personal data

There is no user registration on this site. We don't ask for your name, email, password, or profile information, and we don't have a sign-in to collect any of it. Everything here is public and read-only.

We will never sell your information

We will never sell, rent, or trade visitor information. As of today there isn't any user data to sell in the first place, and that won't change if our practices evolve. If we ever collect anything beyond standard technical logs, it's for us to make the show and site better — not for ad networks, data brokers, or anyone else.

Analytics, maybe someday

We don't run analytics on the site right now. We may add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, strictly to understand which episodes and pages are working so we can improve the experience. If we do, we'll update this page first.

Hosting and standard server logs

Like any website, our host may keep short-term technical logs — things like IP address, user agent, and timestamps — for security, debugging, and reliability. We don't use these logs to track or profile visitors.

Cookies

We don't set tracking cookies. The site may use minimal browser storage required for the app to function.

Third-party platforms

We publish on Spotify, YouTube, and other platforms, and we link out to services like Facebook and GitHub. Those platforms have their own privacy policies and we don't control what they do with your visit. Check their policies if that matters to you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time as the site evolves. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
